    I worked at Macy's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at Macy's you usually have very lovely coworkers and the the discount can come in handy.

    Cons

The way back of the house discounts work is a nuisance. The pressure to get people to sign up for credit is almost predatory, and overall the job isn't fulfilling.

    I worked at Macy's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good environment and discounts, also nice break rooms.

    Cons

Scheduling was sometime difficult, especially when they did not take into consideration that you are using public transportation. Also when I went back the next year since I had just worked the holiday season, someone I had worked with before spoke with me then said let me go see what we have available for you and left the room. She came back a few minutes later and said, "Oh we don't have anything for you, come shop with us." Later I told the store manager about this she agreed that this and said well if I do not have job then how can I shop? She agreed that this was not an appropriate thing for her to say. However she did say if she had a job she would give it to me. Therefore I must have been good employee.

    Advice to Management

Do not give employees current or former false leads.
