I have been working at Madame Tussaud's part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free entries into Merlin Attractions, flexible scheduling, no prior work experience needed. The Studios team is friendly and more than happy to answer questions about the work they do.

    Cons

No real leadership, there are managers but not much in regards to mentoring or guidance. If you are a favorite, you can pretty much get away with anything but being caught stealing. Higher ups treat you like you are stupid and incapable of doing anything but the very basics of your job. And your job, it will change, but not usually for the better. Training is a joke, no manuals, no onboarding or eLearning. A couple of days of shadowing and into the fire you go. Expect no help from the duty managers, they are just there to socialize and complain to each other.

    I worked at Madame Tussaud's part-time

    Pros

    - discounted food - free tickets

    Cons

    - management and HR play favorites on who gets away with infractions and who doesnt - multiple parts of the museum is malfunctioning and management refuses to fix it, instead they put money into useless projects - nepotism - coworkers (not all) will shun you if you are not into trap rap music and the latest trends

    Pros

This place has cool people working here and I love them so much.

    Cons

They don’t fix anything. The pay is crappy. People always call out. Management spends a butt load of money on projects they think are going to get them more money and ignore glaring issues. One of our main bosses has no clue what he is doing half the time because he has never been an employee so half the time I catch him just wondering around the mueseum clueless.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's full-time

    Pros

Staff is very friendly and all seem to get along very well. Senior Management works closely with mid management and front of house. Open door policy in the office allows employee from all areas to feel comfortable and have their voices heard. Scheduling is very flexible

    Cons

A bumpy beginning as a new attraction in Nashville but has evened out now and is on the rise. A recent change in Senior Leadership has improved the workplace atmosphere immensely.
