    I worked at Madame Tussaud's part-time

    Pros

I loved my coworkers and kept I continue to keep in touch with them.
    The hours weren't long.
Good starting pay for 1st job.
Managers for the most part were nice to work with.
Unique place to work and fun communicating with guests.

    Cons

Not enough hours if you need to make a living (museums aren't open long anyway)
    Some positions were incredibly boring.
    Working during slow days/holidays.

    Advice to Management

Close for Christmas and offer better incentives for visiting other Merlin attractions as an employee.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's (More than a year)

    Pros

    Friendly staff and coworkers
    Flexible with schedules
    Decent hours

    Cons

Pay sucks (lots of work, little pay)
    Impossible to move up
    No full time
No benefits (401k, insurances, sick/maternity, etc.)
Management gets it all and you work so hard and get so little.

    Advice to Management

Better pay. Actual benefits such as sick days, pto everything you all receive for the hard working employees. Employees need more appreciation other than magic passes and things that they don't necessarily need or what. We would like more opportunities presented to us. I would recommend this job if you're looking for an after school gig or if you don't have bills because your hours will fluctuate.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to grow within the company. New internal job postings for global positions weekly. New attractions opening all the time.

    Cons

In order to grow, must be willing to move. Depending on the size of the attraction you work in, the opportunities at that location my be limited. The pay isn't the best. I would make more in this same position if I left to work for a different company.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of faithful staff. A lot of good people leave for better pay.

I worked at Madame Tussaud's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the co-workers weren't horrid, and it could get pretty busy, so at least it would go by quickly.

    Cons

The staff, especially management, are transphobic and homophobic. When approached, they refuse to do anything other than laugh in your face. They disrespect requests for schedule updates due to school or another job. Constantly giving me my lunch break 45 minutes to an hour late on a consistent basis.

    Advice to Management

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas needs to have sensitivity training for their staff about LGBTQ+ folk, especially because you see a lot stranger things in Las Vegas than trans folk working in a museum. Train your managers to treat people with the proper respect. Honestly, I am going to make sure everyone knows how transphobic/homophobic this place is so that I can drive business away from them until they change their ways. If I could give this place 0 stars for everything, I would. I had to quit because of the constant mistreatment. The workplace was extremely unprofessional.

    Cons

-Pay is $9.00 and only goes up a few cents every year

    -Little advancement opportunities

    Advice to Management

Add some sort of commission for the hard working employees.

I have been working at Madame Tussaud's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers and managers are caring and helpful

    Cons

Not enough employees during busy seasons

    Advice to Management

Plan ahead and have enough employees before busy season begins. Also, pay more attention to working conditions and make sure hosts are ready to work after training before having them on their own.

    Pros

The great thing about working for madam tussouds new york is that you meet people from all over the world. For the most part the other host are great. It's good to get a steady check during breaks from school.

    Cons

The building is filthy, the air conditioning has been broken for years, management dont care about host, there are nice all over the building, LP is completely ridiculous (cant even get ice for water from the cafe). If u think you're moving up in the company your mistaken (unless you kissing behind for it). They don't respect those that work hard and don't properlt acknowledge those that do the most in the building. In the 8 years ive been working ive never felt more unappreciated not even when i was working in burger King.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees and they will care about there jobs.
