Benefits are great, pto is good, healthcare is great etc... Good company to work for and get experience.
Cons
Upper management I had bad experience with. I don't know if it was just because of a bad property manager and bad regional, or if it was BAD all the way up the chain. They bought a 20 year old property in a high dollar area that they wanted to flip. They did very POOR due diligence if any at all, and it just became a money pit.

-Most managers have poor management skills and often speak disrespectfully and unprofessionally to employees - Long hours, overtime, and answering calls and texts about resident issues is expected even when off the clock - Expectation to use your own car and gas without refund to run errands, give tours, attend eviction hearings, etc. - Properties are constantly bought and sold so you may have to change location frequently with little regard for driving distance to and from your home

Leadership cares about employees and their families. I like the work location and have wonderful work life balance. I agree with our company values. Great 401k plan that meets my needs. Some additional benefits have been added to the line up. I would highly recommend working at Madera Companies.
