    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Madison Square Garden as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Better than average pay, mostly friendly supervisors and coworkers, virtually stress free environment, lots of perks (the food in the company cafeteria rocks and is priced way below market prices; they have office pizza days/ice cream socials/bagels & spreads frequently), and awesome location in midtown Manhattan above Penn Station makes commuting a breeze.

    Cons

Because it is the world's most famous arena and an enormous organization, there's a public relations/politics/bureaucracy aspect to the job that can be frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Even if you think an email you receive is not important, you should still answer it. Ignoring emails is dismissive and rude and doesn't engender in your direct reports a desire to bust their a** for you.
