    Pros

Nice people, good benefits. Company is trying to engage with its employees and provide better environment.

    Cons

Finance team is understaffed and undertrained. Constant reorgs where staff is cut, no one has been trained to do their duties, yet their jobs fall on remaining employees . Archaic software and tons of manual work. Very frustrating to get any programs to work efficiently because budgets aren't there to develop what is needed.

    Advice to Management

Invest more $ in your technology and people

I worked at Madison Square Garden part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working for the worlds most famous arena, discounts and free tickets..My favorite part was meeting customers from all over the world. My daughter enjoyed going there with me which i loved the experience we had together..that's for life.Making friends with some co workers.Being able to be yourself and act crazy at times because its such aloud place.Concerts are the best nights to work.Tips were good sometimes too! Love the way the place looks..its beautiful.Loved to tell people i worked there.

    Cons

Management is so unorganized. You never get to really no anyone from hr..cashiers are the bottom of the company no one cares. If your no ones favorite your screwed. They let you go in a heart beat no matter what kind of worker you are. They don't appreciate any employees. They don't live in reality to realize things happen sometimes that's out of your hands. They don't care about your life dramas.Oh in don't be late a couple times you'll be fired quick. No second chances at all, just like i said unless your someones favorite they might help. You pay union dues in they don't even help you keep your job if a problem happens. Most supervisor are so rude to employees and customers. But the higher ups don't seem to pay any mind to that...the only thing they busy doing is firing they best workers. If your a good worker and love people you might wanna work somewhere else..this place will either turn you into them or chew you up in spit you out quick!

    Advice to Management

Handle decision's better. If you don't like people don"t work there and mess up the name of the company. We should all be as one and supportive to one another.Fight for the people that actually deserve to be there.

    Pros

Company is good for the resume.

    Cons

Worst management ever. No interest in retaining talent. Do not hear their employees.

    Advice to Management

The worst Human Resources department on the planet. Literally I sat there to get some advice on how to handle a situation with my manager, the HR rep ate her lunch and stared at her computer screen the entire time. This was after many phone calls to even get an appointment. I have never experienced an HR group like this. Totally disconnected and there to support EVPs only.
