Generous company, good benefits, good work life balance, company is headquartered in Denmark

    Cons

Very focused on the promotion of Danish men. If you are not a Dane or male, there is not much growth opportunity.

    Pros

this is a lead architect job. title does not mean any thing this is not a hands on job. expect no hands on. excellent pay and benefits.

    Cons

no hands on java at all. if u are working with IBM offshore expect horrors. . this is a complete chaos. no proper documentation development guidelines build scripts or even version control for a huge project. people don't even know how to use version control. they use version control to create directories and copy code from one release to another. no SDLC, IBM will do what ever and u have no control over it as slightest change will result IBM asking for 6 month delay and u get blamed. They are planning to Buy and integrate IBm products. so there may be less scope for development work

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Plenty to do if you want to get involved, easy to travel internationally if you want to (especially to Denmark).

    Cons

It's so big that it's constantly reorganizing, the pay isn't great and while you're be close with your coworkers, it's really just because misery loves company.

    Advice to Management

Can't really think of anything to tell them that they'd listen to - managers up to the GM/Director level tend to be pretty in touch with their teams, it's beyond that where there seems to be some confusion.

I worked at Maersk Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wide breadth of exposure to different business units and operations, working for this extremely well-run global conglomerate. Had a great time there. Worked hard and, in time, I was rewarded with increased responsibilities and pay.

    Cons

Due to the nature of the industry, there can be layoffs due to restructurings, or if they decide to no longer pursue a certain direction.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
