I have been working at Maestro Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Hello Everyone I had a great experience today, so I want to give a shout out to A Great Recruiter for his Efforts. Chad Lilly from Maestro. Even though things didn't go in my favor, he still answered my call not once but twice to let me know that the position was filled with another candidate. Sometimes it's not that the job was not meant for you but maybe it just wasn't your time. However staying on subject. Chad was...

I have been working at Maestro Health full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

The vast majority of the company has incredible coworkers. Most of the culture promoted exists for some departments. A nice, newly expanded office. Catered lunches. Individual team outings. Remote work options for most. Amazing location for all different types of commuters.

      Cons

There is a deep divide between the Tech and Ops teams. Favoritism runs rampant and preferential treatment is given to the Marketing department. Things have taken a turn to feeling really tense and micromanaged in the office. Training isn't really something that is made to feel important. It's hard to feel protected as an employee when opinions and concerns, when expressed, are either ignored or used against you....

      Advice to Management

If your people do not feel protected or valued, they will leave. This is not true of all departments, but when you are constantly seeing toxic and over-managing tendencies win and be ignored by the rest of the Management teams or C-Levels, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Train your employees on what we build and sell. It's not very clear. Create a less hostile environment for new ideas. Remember that the...

I have been working at Maestro Health full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Casual work environment, flexible schedule options.

      Cons

Training is none existent. You are given a very basic overview of the system and that is all. You know very little about the plans and benefits you will be working on. You are trained for about a week. You will shadow with someone for a few hours and then you're on your own. Finding assistance when you need it can be difficult. It's not a great business practice to take about a week and train people to be the front...

      Advice to Management

Work on training time frames and allow additional more specific training. Shadowing is great if you get more than half of a day shadowing should be a week of working with a knowledgeable person to learn the more detailed information that was missing or not covered in training. Up training as well as new things come about new processes or products are great but not if your representatives know only the information sent...
