I worked at Magic Software (Israel) full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

After a few rocky years, Magic Software of today is a solid cash cow. Meaning the company has a huge install base that contributes to 90+% of it's annual revenue. Sales teams need to first hold on to current customers and only then go and acquire new ones. This can work for someone who is not hungry for success.

    Cons

Eventually Magic will die, unless it introduces a new blockbuster product or technology.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in innovation. Win new ISVs (something the company has not managed to do in the past ~10 years. Overall, Make Magic great again :)

I have been working at Magic Software (Israel) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - small company so everybody knows everyone
    - Many different technologies, platforms and 3rd party software to work with
    - good working hours
    - good honest salary

    Cons

    - old, outdated products meaning no new customers but only ongoing support
    - unstable company, every few years they sack a lot of people.
    - even if you're sacked due to organization changes, they give you ample enough time to find something else.

    Advice to Management

products overhaul is crucial, rethinking/re-evaluate designated markets, re-branding, investing in today's technologies to integrate with these platforms.
