I have been working at Magna International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Tremendous efforts put forth to make sure the production personnel are comfortable and happy with the work environment. Corporate and Division level engineer groups focus heavily on R&D to bring innovation into the production facilities

    Cons

Potentially long work hours. Technical groups have in the past been overlooked on QOL issues.

    Advice to Management

Utilize the wealth of resources available to come to consensus when issues arise. No one person has to solely bare the the brunt of a misstep. Everyone stands to gain or lose when we win or don't.

    Pros

    Good pay and benefits.

    Cons

Company culture reminisces about the good old days because they are now gone, and far behind them. Times are changing but not for the better. Job security concerns and higher expectations plague the morale of the group.

    Advice to Management

Raise the morale of your employees.

    Pros

Good pay and benifits. Opportunity to advance to a point.

    Cons

HR at the liberty branch is awful. If they don’t like you personally then they will go free you to get you fired. Several issues with them not fully doing their job or making mistakes that caused people their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Training and development should be concentrated on. More focus on Magna culture and developing future leaders. Listen to your floor managers
