    Pros

Great commute and some employees. After working in this company, one may start to appreciate what other companies may offer...

    Cons

Unprofessional management, especially in IT department, with a twist of Third World countries' management style.

    Advice to Management

Bring aboard well educated, respected, leaders whom employees could look up to and respect.

    I worked at MagnaCare full-time

    Pros

Coworkers are friendly, low to moderate stress, generous time off with 11 paid holidays plus vacation/personal/sick time

    Cons

Very limited room for growth or upward mobility, low salary, morale in the office is very low and turn over seems excessive

I have been working at MagnaCare full-time

    Pros

Pay and benefits are good, along with the office location and the commute is desirable. with flexible hours/schedule. There are also some nice people in the different offices.

    Cons

Professional growth and training opportunities are minimal and/or lacking. There are inconsistent / sub par group employee communications from management. The legacy culture fosters non-transparency and barriers in internal and intra-departmental / company business dealings, information gathering and knowledge transfer. There is a perceived lack of professionalism and too many chiefs with lofty titles with minimal delegation of authority, responsibility or knowledge sharing to their direct reports (if they have any) and others.

    Advice to Management

The items detailed in the cons are the major points to reflect on.

I have been working at MagnaCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very nice co-workers for the most part, benefits are decent

    Cons

The micro-management is unbearable! Company future is uncertain. Team leads and managers are a "click" and the same rules don't apply to them, management doesn't know what they're doing and they scramble every day, they are unprofessional and will punish you if challenged in any way. If new ideas for change are suggested it is suppressed because current management sees it as a threat to their position. Your job is to be a mindless drone.

    Advice to Management

Change current management. They are insincere and lie to your face. Create an environment where everyone can contribute- your day and future in a position is not all about numbers.

    Pros

benefits are good, location as well.

    Cons

when you have management and H/R sticking together like glue, employees have not where to turn with their issues, no matter what the employee is always wrong.

    Advice to Management

take a class on how to be human.

I have been working at MagnaCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent offices. Some perks. Some nice people.

    Cons

The parent company - Brighton Health - is slowly taking over and they are rude to the current employees. Bill Sullivan, the CEO, is really disrespectful to staff. I have seen him ignore people that speak to him. Managers do not motivate. Executive staff are clueless about the employees.

    Advice to Management

There is not enough space here to suggest any advice. That ship sailed a long time ago, before the company was sold.

    Cons

Lots of people think they are Chiefs. Few Indians

Every department is understaffed and stressed out because they are using same people to start another company at the same time.

Dont feel part of the company.

    Employees not motivated

    Advice to Management

appreciate employees with more than a few words in a long email after people are let go.
