Very Passionate People in the Area, Fast Paced,

    Cons

Disorganized, not Systematic, language barriers, STRESS

    Advice to Management

Back to the basics, review your approach, job responsibilites, roles, align to protect the Plant vs trying to align to satisfy the outside leadership, fight the fight, start listening, put the right people in the right places, and remove the ones in the wrong places.

I have been working at Magneti Marelli full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall, I enjoy most people I work with. Recently got missing pay straight after going back and forth for months. I love my job is mostly the best part there is

    Cons

Doing Much Much more work (Skilled Labor) with no money to compensate. Currently Averaging about $5 below respective pay grade. Paycheck more than likely going to get messed up at least 1 every 10. No one is willing to work together as a team. Too too often do I hear :"thats not my job".

    Advice to Management

Pull it together guys. Show some recognition and appreciation. Pay employees what they are worth and deserve and see if people dont pick their head up a little more and put some effort into their job.

Some good people. Some good bosses. It's a job. Extremely easy job. Good pay for the easy work. 401k match.

    Cons

HR is the absolute worst ever. They make getting raises difficult. Many people have issues with their paychecks. Insurance sucks.

    Pros

The original management team needs to be brought back because they cared about keeping jobs here and cared about the people and their success.

    Cons

It started out as a good company to work for until changes in management occurred and the company is now run by inexperienced managers and people who do not understand the American culture.

I worked at Magneti Marelli full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, benefits OK, lots of events happening.
Fun working environment. Good work from home policy.

    Cons

The entire company is run from Italy - there is no autonomy or ability to make decisions, changes, improvements, et. There is rarely a chance at getting promoted because most manager/team lead roles are filled by expats from Italy/Germany. Magneti Marelli is owned by Fiat Holdings, so a lot of the Director level are "on- loan" from FCA down the road in Auburn Hills. There is zero chance at getting a pay increase which is why the offer made is so high and probably padded with a large signing bonus. They do this to keep you happy enough to keep you long enough to work you to death before you realize what is happening. Then when you start looking for a job you realize that no one else is going to pay you what you're making there - so people are either stuck, or they leave and take a pay cut just to get some sanity back in their life.

    Advice to Management

Make changes. Force changes. Force autonomy.

    Pros

If you would like to learn how to manage in a crisis scenario, then this is the place to be.

    Cons

The doors have been open for over 3 years now, and we are still operating like a start up. There are alot of good people here with great ideas and extensive knowledge, but no one seems to listen and work together as a team. Fresh, enthusiastic faces walk in, and are promptly turned to the look of the downtrodden.

    Advice to Management

Listen, listen, listen. Put the funds towards quality before it is too late. Encourage true teamwork, and create a culture we can be proud to be a part of.
