I worked at Magyar Telekom full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent for entering into job market right after graduation.

    Cons

However having almost all maslow is rather convenient than bad to get accustomed to. Process development is not easy because the company is not small.

    Advice to Management

Split the company into small BU pieces and determin separate targets to achieve.

I have been working at Magyar Telekom full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You can find a broad range of expertise within the company, from sales to technology to marketing to organizational development. If you are a changemaker, you can find tough challenges. Sometimes you get valuable coaching. There are some managers and executives with good intentions.

    Cons

Formalities often matter more than substance. Mostly email + Excel + PPT culture. Meetings with unclear purpose and unclear commitment from participants. Much time wasted due to a low level of willingness to learn. The higher you are in the ranks, the less you care about the tools people are working with. Suboptimal decisions due to a narrow perspective. Most of the people speak English poorly.

    Advice to Management

Promote experimenting and prototype testing. Eliminate middle managers. Invest in collaboration technology. Make clear decisions and commit to them. Break down strategy to actionable rules.
