I worked at Mahindra Satyam full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good sales and support team. Liked my immediate supervisors.

    Cons

In their scramble to regain a 50% business loss due to an executive scandal, confusion permeated the organization. New orgs every few months, Middle Managers way over their heads due to double promotions to retain folks after a mass employee exodus. Had 3 different bosses and assignments in 18 months.

    Advice to Management

Stabilize, focus on solid delivery and give sales a chance to rebuild relationships/business.

I worked at Mahindra Satyam full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Was a typical Indian services company with Raju, since then people are working hard to increase revenue and customer base. There are some hard working folks at the senior level.

    Cons

Is nowhere near its best of times, at offshore everything is scrutinized, including swipe in/out time.

    Advice to Management

    Will it matter?

    Pros

    The people are really nice.

    Cons

The pay isn't great. There is no motivation for career advancement and their policies are a nightmare. Sometimes you are forced to fill out reports and things that don't pertain to the current job just to fill out a timesheet...

    Advice to Management

Improve your HR. Don't lock people out of certain systems for not filling out surveys. Have surveys that pertain to actual job and in the field work.
