    Pros

    - Pays real money instead of "free cookies"

    Cons

    - Mail.Ru Group is a conglomerate. You actually job experience may depend on a department.
    - Stocks and options compensation system is totally screwed up.

    Advice to Management

    - Establish proper 360-Degree Feedback system or an alternative.
    - Motivate employees with stocks or options

    Pros

Kind of huge company with many good perks such as good medical and travel insurance, gym, juice bar, car park, e.t.c. for free and sometimes interesting projects. You are able to have a big compatitive salary growing in perspective. If you a game developer living in Moscow and prefer to work at a big company, you have no choise to work anywhere else.

    Cons

Game developing is under bottom there. No one wants to play their games. Reputation of that company make a lot of hate.

    + really great office
+ restaurant, free fitness, free freshes, library, etc
    + educational lectures etc
+ inner network which simplifies a lot of things
    + nice variety of projects

    Cons

    - bad marketing / operating departments
    - too much given importance to opinions of simply lucky in the past "experts"
    - lack of good managers and little attention to making managers better

    Advice to Management

    - have your own opinion on some cases, invest something in it

I have been working at Mail.ru full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The head office is located not far from the centre of the city. Flexible work schedules. Social benefits. A beautiful place to grow professionally.

    Cons

There are lots of students, interns and young specialists who are constantly reinventing the wheel, mostly because they can do it, instead of borrow and utilise solutions that are already built. This leads to a rather poor and unmaintainable infrastructure, comparing to other IT companies.
The long-term goals of products are not very clear for stuff.

    Pros

The one of the best Russian company with a good team and an office. Good abilities for self-development and additional education.
Foreign languages, fitness, a social package and facilities.
This company is an owner of VK.com, OK.ru and a lot of another smaller projects. That's why there is really a lot of big data.
To be honest, I'm really like Mail.Ru Group.

    Cons

One of the biggest con of this company is that you should go through a really hardcore interview with a lot of math, algorithms, brain-teasers and etc. for a data science position. But afterwords you'll work on a front-end or grep logs. Very 'intellectual' job in my opinion =\

    Advice to Management

If you say to a candidate that he will work on data science and hire him, you should give the candidate data science tasks!
