    Pros

    It's a fun atmosphere to be in, always music and moving around, great team to work with and management !

    Cons

    Late hours, not enough closers (employee wise). 50% employee discount on everything but alcohol. Free drinks on the clock. Always loud.

    Advice to Management

    Change up the music playlist so we don't hear the same mom approved music all the time. And add more POS on the floor the help the servers. For centers with 22 or more lanes we need at least 3 minimum. Add a better break room that's not right next to the back of the bowling lanes.

    Fun place to work. It's cool as a first job and you get to meet a lot of fun people there.

    Cons

    Unorganized management, they have nine managers and none of them communicate. They don't want to pay you and they treat all of their employees horribly because they can replace you

    Pros

    Management was the best I've worked with in the industry. Strong focus on professionalism and keeping the center clean. Generous employee discount.

    Cons

    Bartenders don't get tipped out and the service well is VERY busy. Uniforms are ugly and dated. Late nights and long shifts. There were numerous times HR messed up on service charges so had to jump through hoops to get paid correctly. Food is mediocre but I heard that there will be a new menu soon. No happy hour. Company is all about taking care of families but they don't care about their employees family life; no one should have to work on Christmas!

    Advice to Management

    Stop hiring people for the service department that have zero experience.

    they work with you if you have a complex schedule because they have so many employees. also its a great place to learn how to get out of your comfort zone

    Cons

    not a place to grow, not the best management. lot of favoritism on management side and you work late because they close at 12 and 2 am depending on the day

    Working with immature teenagers
    Poor communication between management
    Company does not value its employees.
    SUPER HIGH TURNOVER

    Advice to Management

    There's a reason why people quit all the time. Management does not communicate well and there seems to be a lot of in fighting. The higher level bureaucracy is completely out of touch and do not value good or hard working employees. Blatant favoritism. If its a seasoned employee's word against a random disgruntled guest, you should learn to back your own people.

    managers acting like kids, everyone wanna be the boss, I supposedly work there from oct 2016 to Jan 2017 I've only worked 7 DANG TIMES! and when being asked to be on the schedule NO RESPONDS

    I have been working at Main Event Entertainment part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Solid discount, free MVP cards (only during non-peak hours usually), free drinks, fun environment

    Cons

    Inconsistencies with management, closing shifts will be guaranteed to stay later until their department is clear to leave (sometimes even 2 hours after), lack of organization, lack of recognition in most cases (though my center has improved upon this but I know this is a flaw at most)

    Advice to Management

    Make sure your employees know you care. Even just giving them advice on how to improve themselves and telling them what they're doing good with is better than only telling them they've done something bad. Most people that come in are still kids in a way and it's hard to see, but they do need some guidance on occasion. Give them a reason to not think that the workplace is as bad as they think it is.
