    Pros

Excellent company culture. The benefits are great even the ability to work from home. The employees are knowledgeable and amazing to work with.

    Cons

In most of these roles, performance is measured by premium so be ready for that. If you're unable to meet that expectation, the chances of a raise/bonus is slim.

I worked at Main Street America as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nice active work place.
There's always some activity going on.
    Fun loving people.

    Cons

The level of projects to which I was exposed to wasn't very intense. They were by far easily doable.

    Advice to Management

Compensation could be increased for candidates with a Master's degree.

I worked at Main Street America full-time

    Pros

Very good life-balance, calm and not very stressful.

Mediocre leadership, poor judges of good talent. Sleepy.

    Advice to Management

Be less risk-averse and find some really good talent.

    Pros

Good benefits and income. Good work life balance philosophy

I have been working at Main Street America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The position was flexible and allowed me to break away to attend children's functions and work from home on occasion. The majority of the Keene NH workforce had long tenures with the company and typically worked very well together. Pay and benefits were competitive

    Cons

During a 2009 reorganization, IT leadership positions were relocated to the Jacksonville FL home office. This limited advancement potential for those in the Keene office. The Jacksonville office had much higher turnover rates at both the management and team member level.

  8. "Overall, Main Street is a good company to work for... no better or worse than the average mid-size company."
