I have been working at Major Players full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're wanting to get into Recruitment, this is the place to be. The people are young and sociable, yet hardworking and driven. It is an autonomous working environment which is clearly working for us. The work hard, play-hard mentality is alive and thriving at MP.

There is potential for EVERYONE to develop on their own terms and the support and training around this is solid.

The people and culture are amazing and the incredible benefits scheme is the cherry on top.

Trust me, you want to work for MP.

    Cons

    Absolutely nothing bad to say!

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I worked at Major Players full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Specialist consultants who genuinely care about their clients, their candidates, their colleagues and the wider business.
Top notch marketing and social media offering.
Investment in the people working for them is 2nd to none.
Superb social scene with amazing bar, great events and many a fun night!
Healthy commission with the ability to hit the heights for those who drive to excel.
The leadership team respond to suggestions and feedback, and whilst maintaining a consistent drive for excellence are flexible enough to try new things.

    Cons

Ermm..... more Roxy Music on the radio??
Maybe more industry experts to come in and speak to teams about their disciplines - upskilling by those in the industry, which won't feel like classroom learning.
Genuinely struggling to think of any, as very little room for improvement.

    Advice to Management

Keep going, keep doing what you're doing, keep hiring people who will make a difference and do all you can to retain those who don't just work hard but add something a little special to the place. And keep that bar nicely stocked ;-)
