I have been working at Mamac Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Customers are held in high regard. Everyone understands that we can't say 'no' to a customer - the department bends over backwards to make sure each customer is happy. This makes our job much easier as we are supported by production and management. I worked in a different industry before this job in which most calls were from angry customers. This is the complete opposite and a refreshing change. The company pushes you to learn more about the products and the industry to become a better employee. Good benefits and pay.

    Cons

Work hours are very structured so we can't take breaks or lunch with other people from the department. But it is understandable as the company policy is to answer the phone so customers get a live person immediately.

    Advice to Management

Health benefits at reasonable prices are appreciated especially when the company pays more for years of service. 401k is good, but would like to be able to change investments more often during the year.

    Pros

    steady paycheck and work experience

    Cons

Not sure where to begin. You are always belittled. Management always lookes for every little mistake they can find, so they have something to complain about and to make you feel like you are nothing. They don't know how to manage or how to train you or speak to you. The office has an foreign sweat shop feel to it. No liveliness, No music, Your not allowed to talk to anyone. Not allowed to have fun. Just work, work, work and forbid you ever make a mistake. No one smiles. Everyone walks around unhappy and on eggshells.

    Advice to Management

Quit treating everyone like they are children. Learn to manage people. Quit overexagerating about ever little mistake and learn to teach instead of nag and yell and belittle. Smile a little.

I worked at Mamac Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You'll meet a lot of new people if you stick around. I stayed for about 6 months and met about 20+ people since the turnover is so bad.

    Cons

Everything about this place is not healthy. I have read the reviews before I accepted the job and regret it so much. I should of listened to my gut. I don't need to be repetitive with all the other reviews but don't listen to the good ones...the director of sales told me one time to write a good review. Awkward...

    Advice to Management

Stop yelling at your employers, you may have had a great run in the 80s and 90s...but now that it is 2016..you need to change and stop thinking you are all on a pedestal still. I work for another HVAC company now and you guys are a joke in the industry. Everyone knows how rude and fake you all are.

The last thing the employee gains is experience.

    Cons

Unprofessionalism of management ( All people are complaining about unprofessionalism. Here is the reason for that. The person who owns the company is not professional. He never work for an american company). He always walk around and watch every body means he don't trust his employees. Production side is the horrible part of this company. They treat them like slaves. Yelling and swearing , that's all we hear.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with kindness and respect.

I have been working at Mamac Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are pro's to this job, but the employee will put up with a lot more then what the job is worth. Getting a paycheck and the benefits are what keep you going. You will meet some nice people here, as they understand what it's like to be treated poorly. The last thing the employee gains is experience, and that is truly priceless.

    Cons

The cons of this job are the same thing everyone is complaining about; the unprofessionalism of management. Mistakes are absolutely not tolerated. You will turn in a report everyday accounting for every minute of the day of what you did. If it does not add up, then there is cause to be fired, or you'll get emails asking you to explain yourself, or why did this task take so long, etc. Your supervisor will also send out an email of all your mistakes for the day, and then you will get another email from management asking why you made mistakes. The turnover is over the top and ridiculous. There are too many people walking off the job, getting let go, temps being told not to come back, and others leaving the job for a more professional environment. There is always the threat of being fired looming over the employees’ head. Please let it be reiterated that mistakes are not tolerated. These “horrible” mistakes are not huge, but tiny mistakes that any normal human being would make, and can be corrected at any time. Management feels it necessary to reprimand the employee in front of the entire office, such as that of a small child, all the mistakes the employee made. Management does not have an "open door policy” which means asking questions is considered disruptive. After a very brief and inadequate training period, you are expected to perform and not make any mistakes. All this negativity creates a hostile work environment and is "a waste of time," as Mamac Systems always likes to say.

    Advice to Management

Here is the most simple and elementary of advice for you. Treat your employees with kindness and respect. You do not need to be a best friend, but humiliating an employee in front of others for petty mistakes is "a waste of time." You waste so much time pointing out and focusing only on mistakes, and constantly hiring new employees. You waste so much company time and money having to interview new employees when if you would have just treated them kindly you would still have the previous employee, and not to mention all the time you waste by having to retrain every new employee. Trust your employees to do the job. You thought they could do the job when you first hired them, so why is a report required everyday of what the employee did when you pay them to fulfill a service. Again, you waste so much time having the employee put together the report and for you to review it; when you should just trust the employee to do the job you hired them for. In your case, I think it would be cheaper to be nicer to your employees, rather than having tons of interviews, retraining every new employee, and then repeating the cycle all over again after someone leaves. Word is getting out about your behavior, and you should actually listen to what your past employees have to say, instead of hiding behind your authority as a manager, and treating people with such contempt. Ask yourself this, why should someone work for you, and put up with your animosity and lack of human decency, when they can go work for a company who treats them better, and undeniably pays them better. Learn to appreciate your employees, and to say "Thank you." Management sets the tone for the work environment, and if people are leaving and complaining about Mamac Systems online to warn others, that is your fault. You're management, and it’s your job to be an effective leader. If something is wrong within the company, then take responsibility, and own it because numerous people over the years don’t go online condemning and denouncing Mamac Systems without probable cause. I guess the saying is true, "A bad manager can take a good staff and destroy it, causing the best employees to flee and the remainder to lose all motivation." Treat your employees better, or suffer the consequences of not having a dedicated staff or a thriving business.

    Pros

Vacation time when they would allow it. You turn in you vacation time you want off, if they think it's a valuable reason you get it off, otherwise it's denied. Oh and don't try taking time last minute, doesn't work.

    Cons

This company is s complete micromanagement, you keep a running log from the time you start tell you leave at the end of day. If you use restroom you account even for that. Must be having trouble filling positions always running for same position. Watch indeed cause you might have a job, but they think their being sneaky and running your position if they don't like you, if don't like the way your performing at your job.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue, read the reviews.

    Pros

Days go by very quickly - fast paced environment. The company really pushes good customer service. Quality is emphasized in every position. Training is on-the-job, so taking good notes is helpful. Once you master one process, they take you to the next level. It is up to you how quickly you can learn all the processes. The customers are very nice and easy to work with. Computer systems are user-friendly -- all customer information and inventory is updated instantly. Very clean, new office and production area.

    Cons

No flex time, but also not much overtime required. Office is a standard 8 to 5, Mon-Fri.

    Advice to Management

    The benefits are appreciated.

    Pros

Its easy to get hired because they are desperate. I hope if you read this DO NOT continue with this company. One small pro was after leaving...any company is heaven after being in this hell hole.

    Cons

Like what everyone says..it's the most unprofessional workplace. One manager told me the reason why they yell at people and pick on people from their mistakes was to make them feel embarrassed so it won't happen again. ENOUGH SAID. I hope this should make you not want to work there.

    Advice to Management

Nothing will change your ignorant minds. THANK GOD I LEFT.
