    Pros

ManTech has lots of opportunities as far as jobs if you have the right Clearance level, As well as a great Mobility program to help the employee move around with in the company.

ManTech will not in most cases upgrade your clearance level and they will not hire someone that does not meet the exact qualifications as posted on the Job description.

Spend more time with you employees to learn their personal and professional goals, Cultivate their ambitions and push them to achieve them.

I have been working at ManTech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great Local Team and Management

Decent Salary and Benefits for the area

    Supporting the Armed Forces

    Business Casual Dress Code

    Cons

    Lack of Functional Manager Empowerment

Higher Management believes "Knowledge is Power"; information flow issues.

Employee is on the losing end of every policy change.

Disparities in pay between employees in same positions.

    Advice to Management

Please fix current information flow and functional manager empowerment. Any claims made by management is normally different then corporate management claims. It is hard to trust information from any of the management when they are repeatedly superseded by corporate. Either provide management with the right information or empower them to make decisions.

    Pros

It's a job, employment. A place that pays the bills. Otherwise, the company is greedy, selfish, arrogant. All of the qualities of a "MAN" tech company. Only go here if you can't find a job anywhere else. Just use this place like they use you; to get to a better position in life. Get in, and get out as fast as you can.

    Cons

They were bad when I left in 2013. I hear that they are much, much worse now. Your 'vacation' time is your sick leave. That's a real joke. They are only concerned about their 'customer' opinions, not the employees. They are just like a 19th-century coal mine. Pay the workers almost nothing and profit hugely on the broken-backs of those who do the work. Don't expect raises, promotions, or anything else that should happen in a twenty-first century company. And, DON'T expect gender eqality here, either. All woman I've seen are paid less. I asked them. They get shoved into demeaning roles. STAY AWAY. Worst sweat shop ever. They have no morals, only do the minimum to keep their 'customer' happy. Wouldn't be surpriesd if the next Edward Snowden came from Man teck.

    Advice to Management

    GET REAL.

    Cons

So big that it was easy to feel disconnected. Much like being back in the military.

I worked at ManTech as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company. Most of the personnel are good to work with, of course, some are buttheads as with any company. Pay and benefits are very good.

    Cons

Travel to job locations are sometimes extensive. Management does not want to keep qualified/trained (productive) personnel. Would rather keep relatives/friends (that are not productive)

    Advice to Management

Look at the WHOLE person, not just who does FAVORS for you.

    Pros

Mobility program is good for internal mobility between contracts. And the PTO benefits are high for certain cleared workers (4 weeks).

    Cons

Large company with many business units. Corporate seems out of touch with individual contracts.

I have been working at ManTech (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay if you get plenty of overtime.

    Cons

Lots of favoritism. Good old boy and girl network going on. Most management I've dealt with are marginally mentally handicapped.

    Advice to Management

Put in for a job you're qualified for...preferably entry level fast food worker variety.
