    Pros

There exists an extremly positive corporate culture all-around with a focus on providing the best people with the right skills to their customers.

Constantly evolving business opportunities allow you to continue with your professional development and move around within contracts to the positions you are best suited for.

Senior management also seems to be very loyal to strong performers and is more than happy to promote from within which allows you career development as well.

    Cons

Virtually all of the positions are located in the NoVa area.

    Advice to Management

Keep on developing the company and continue to recognize the hard work put in by all the busy-bees.

    Pros

lots of opportunities within the company/benefits package also very competitive

    Cons

like any large company sometimes something as simple as an expense sheet can be time consuming, but overall turn-around time on these kinds of things are still pretty good within ManTech

    Advice to Management

Make sure your employees are being challenged

    Pros

Great work/life balance. Always seems like a small company even though it is continuing to grow. There is still a good culture that promotes a family atmosphere. Diverse workforce that allows you to meet people from many different cultures and disciplines. They allow you to further your career with movement within the company without holding you to just one position.

    Cons

Growing fast so it can be confusing. There are still no direct career paths and clear ways to advance your career. Too much red tape with typically easy processes. There is no clear management style that is taught throughout the company so project management is not consistent among projects.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing the company while maintaining a good sense of culture

    Pros

ManTech offers excellent benefits and is quite supportive of its employees. ManTech affords its employees easy access and visibility to company policies and is responsive to employee requests for assistance. ManTech is a company with a strong emphasis on integrity.

    Cons

Advancement and recognition are sometimes subjective. There are compensation inequities such as employees receiving higher salaries than other employees who have a higher billing rate.

    Advice to Management

Senior management should review internal business processes that are overly rigid and slow to respond to business necessities.

    Pros

Pay is better than industry standard. This company seems intent on keeping good, hard working talent people and they do everything they can to make a great working environment. For once, Management isn't completely incompetent and the company is moving in a great direction.

    Cons

It seems as though you need very high level clearances and many years of experience (10+ yrs) to get into the company. It may not be for entry level people

    Advice to Management

ManTech is a great company for which to work. It is probably the best company for which I've ever worked. Keep going, as you're going in the right direction. Just be careful not to get too "acquisition-happy" unless you're sure it will add to the company's value. Well done!

I worked at ManTech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Supportive management, opportunities to move up in organization, great benefits. Work environment is fun and challenging. Pay is very competitive among all levels of skill sets.

    Cons

Much of the work is tied to government contracts. If the contract is not re-awarded, the employee can be at risk of being out of work.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work - management is good about being open and honest with employees regarding the market.

    Pros

You are paid well for the work you preform. On a deployed status you provide a valuable service to the military and feel very proud of the work you're doing.

    Cons

You are deployed to a country in some cases and work 12 hour day for 7 days a week. With no time off and away from your family for long periods of time.
