    Pros

MANA Products has experienced a tremendous growth the last few years. What allows MANA to continue thriving within the cosmetics world is the continuous improvement mentality that governs the management and the team work attitude. It’s the type of work place that when you ask for help you get it right away without hesitation. Through MANA’s growth employees and consultants from top companies joined and brought on board great skillsets the latest technology.

    Cons

MANA family has many employees that have been on board for more that 30 years. Old headed employees resist the change and management has been working on continues education to bring everyone up to date with new technology and modern practices.

    Advice to Management

Continue the training and improving. Replace production managers that resist to change and waste Nikos money.

I worked at Mana Products full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good Benefits. You will learn more from the employees than the actual management team. Good neighborhood to work in. Very close to public transportation.

    Cons

No form of proper training for position at this company. Severe lack of safety in regards to Warehouse. Officials are more into "Managing" problems instead of leading and solving the issues at hand.

    Advice to Management

    Lead instead of Manage...

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring you greek friends and looking at women as objects or you will still be in legal problems

I have been working at Mana Products full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Lots of growth opportunities if you have the skills and work hard
    Good pay and benefits
    Company constantly evolving and improving.
Owner CEO investing in new systems and equipment to make organization more efficient
Hiring people more capable so that existing employee base can get better trained

    Cons

Still some old timers that make it harder, but not impossible, to change things.

    Advice to Management

Main area to improve is training to standardize knowledge and skill levels.

I have been working at Mana Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

some great (underused) talent and some good co-workers

    Cons

Owner who is highly inappropriate with young women and extemely volatile; an ex janitor runs the show and boss trusts him blindly although he knows nothing and is basically a paid thug; Couple of old cougars fight for daddy's attention and don't deliver work-wise; HR is helpless. If you are trying to work ethically and with integrity this is not the place. New people try to make progressive changes but are blocked but dinosaur management.

    Advice to Management

CEO needs to trust professionals and stop feeling up the young ones. The culture of 50s mom and pop doesn't work anymore.

I worked at Mana Products full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I wish I could say something positive about this organization, but there is really nothing to point out on the positive side.

    Cons

Management - Oldtimers who think harassment is ok like it's 1979.
Nepotism - if you are from cypress, you are on the winning street. If not, get ready to fight your way thru.

    Advice to Management

Get your grip together, finally make this place enjoyable and take care of your people, not only family members and cypress countrymen (whom many have proven to be a absolute waste) - running a place with scare tactics get you exactly what you preach: Disrespect and employees who will not engage.

    Pros

Handful of hardworking individuals across departments and positions

    Cons

I cannot agree enough with those who have called Mana toxic. The problem is upper management who cling to the old and cannot welcome the new. The individual in charge of several manufacturing areas has failed multiple times (resulting in a costly system transition) yet maintains to hold on to her title and oversee areas she has zero experience in such as planning. This same situation can be found in multiple other areas. Incompetent individuals somehow maintain to hold on to jobs. As a result, some departments are grossly overstuffed while others can barely breathe.
Mana has zero transparency when it comes to salaries and benefits. This means a senior manager can make anywhere between 80-130K. Same situation with PTO. You can work there 10 years and get 4 weeks or you can start working in certain departments and negotiate 4 weeks to start with. Zero transparency. Health insurance is a joke to the point that many in upper management choose to purchase privately or be on their spouse's plan. Nepotism is a Mana trademark. If you are from Cypress or you are a family member of the CEO or even if your uncle is on the same Cypriot non-profit as the CEO or the CFO, you will undoubtedly get an internship or job offer. HR is a department in name only, there is zero contribution by HR to improve the work environment or employees' wellbeing. HR's role is to serve first the CEO and then rest of upper management.

    Advice to Management

There is no point in giving advice when it is a guarantee it will not be taken.

I worked at Mana Products full-time

    Pros

There are no good reasons to work here!

    Cons

Role call are the status quo for all employees!!

Extremely toxic work environment, organization structure is a joke, unskilled and unqualified senior management and therefore every aspect of the business is mismanaged. If you are serious about your career and time spent this is NOT the right organization .

There are no departments in this organization that could be considered as "normal" or "professional".

    Advice to Management

Stop the Greek nepotism, if you want to be successful!

Hire competent Human Resources professionals that can help prevent work place harassment and encourage professionalism.
