    Pros

Very forward thinking company that rewards its employees well when you perform at your best or go above and beyond. Lots of room for advancement as well as several different career paths that you can explore.

    Cons

Challenging atmosphere and challenging clients. Be prepared to work a lot at times. If you keep saying yes, the more work you will get.

I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get a lot of client-facing time at an entry level position. Not to mention getting exposure to different industries.

Traveling/Points/Flexing trips to other cities on the weekend. Typical consulting perks.

    Cons

Poor onboarding resources - such as documentation or proper introductory courses. Your experience at the company really depends on which project you are assigned to starting out and whether or not the experienced resources on your team are helpful.

    Advice to Management

Focus on giving senior employees more incentive to stay instead of hiring new employees by the numbers. Seasoned employees are astronomically more valuable and management seems to have a hard time seeing that.

I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to work with some of the new tech that is coming out and the office is in a location where traffic is not as bad as midtown.

    Cons

No working from home outside of emergencies. A lot of your team will be offshore and not working at the same time as you, so collaboration is very difficult. Everything you work on has to be reviewed by senior management.

    Advice to Management

Give people some flexibility and allow them room to shine.

    Pros

    -High profile clients
    -Extremely smart co-workers
    -Very diverse workforce

    Cons

-Management carries their burn-out rate as a badge of honor. Often portray an image of "only the tough survive."
-At the mercy of who your manager and clients are.
-Often get stuck working weekends and long hours.
    -No clear 5 year plan.

    Advice to Management

Recognize and be willing to accept the issues brought forward as opposed to creating a different reality.

    Cons

Very poor work life balance, arrogant senior management, very less care for employees, junior employees are treated like trash.

you are just meant to tackle things

no new technical learning for PSO services ppl. you will loose out on technical skill set.

    Advice to Management

start respecting employees. Its not only about bill ability bending your back for clients and filling time sheets

I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The greatest co-workers. Very interesting projects. Some upward movement available. Fast paced environment. Lots of perks. Good pay. Good product and R&D support.

    Cons

Little to no work-life balance. Corporate culture is focused on how much you work to the point I saw awards given to a person for extending their travel plans despite not having seen their family for 2 weeks already. Hours, treatment, and stress greatly on your manager and your project. Things are better once you have seniority but you have to pay your dues. Overseas employees are not treated well.

    Advice to Management

Please please stop burning out your employees. The people here are amazing so stop rewarding them for 100 hour weeks and for leaving their family to travel for months.

I worked at Manhattan Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great peer group to start with and decent starting salary for entry level consultant positions. Beautiful office and office gym.

    Cons

projects can be very variable as far as work load goes. There always seemed to be issues with balancing staffing and work load. The project I worked on consisted of needlessly long hours: 12-14 hour days. Travel is highly variable based on projects, you could travel 4 days/week every week or only travel 4 days over 6 months. Consultants general spend most of their time testing software which can be feel repetitive and mind numbing.

    Advice to Management

There always seemed to be unbalance between staffing levels and project work loads. While a group of consultants assigned to one project might not have a whole lot going on, another project group would be working 12 hour days.
