I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time

    Pros

One great thing at the company is the look out for new trends in the market and in the supply chain. Every few years there will be major revolution of the technologies used in the product.

    Cons

Very slow in adapting new technology trends. Employees interests are not heard and too much hierarchy

    Advice to Management

Break hierarchy and make HR alive

I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people I work with everyday. Overall, the most selfless, hardworking, great group of people to work with.
Ability to take and run with opportunities. You may not get formally recognized, but the learning experiences are valuable.
Reasonable work life balance. All companies like Manhattan have the same challenges. They do as well as or better than some.
Good company size. Small enough to stand out but large enough for (somewhat) financial stability.

    Cons

    Uninspiring upper management.
Don't always feel like your bosses have your back, unless it suits them.
Lack of formal feedback, particularly constructive or positive.
Back of the napkin approach to initiatives.

    Advice to Management

A company that leads by instilling a sense of fear can curtail innovation and desire to put yourself out there for the sake of the company.

    Pros

Great place to get broad exposure across many clients. Plenty of internal opportunities for challenging projects with great teams. Fantastic places to learn and build experience.

    Cons

Extreme focus on billable hours targets... which often takes priority over what is best for the client. Also quite a lack of work/life balance, which is fairly common in the consulting world. You will be expected to put in well over 40 hours and do whatever it takes to meet objectives.

    Advice to Management

Better align employee goals so that consultants prioritize client interests rather than weekly billable targets.

    Pros

You're working with very forward thinking products in the Supply Chain space but the job is more of a tester than a Consultant. Job is somewhat flexible for scheduling. Decent pay and benefits

    Cons

The onboarding process for experienced hires is non-existent. Also the projects you are assigned to dictate your trajectory. If you're on an eCommerce client you learn the eCommerce aspects, if not then you never get to use the eCommerce characteristics. Work-Life balance is something you need to fight for.

    Advice to Management

Offer training for first-time people managers on how to manage college hires and experienced hires. Implement true 360 Degree reviews to get a full picture of the entire process

I worked at Manhattan Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I'd say this job is for someone who doesn't mind getting thrown into things and who likes to work. If you want a work life balance then I wouldn't recommend this job.

Great salary for someone coming right out of college
    Get to travel
    Pretty laid back managers
Get to work from home sometimes
Company events (whenever they have them)

    Cons

Long work hours (Depends on what dept or project your on)
Not a good work life balance.
Calls with different team members overseas (Taking calls in the middle of the night)
    Travelling can wear you out
Dealing with customers and giving up your life to help them
The Work environment in general was alright.

    Advice to Management

Laying off your employees without prior notice kind of sucked

I have been working at Manhattan Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to work with some of the new tech that is coming out and the office is in a location where traffic is not as bad as midtown.

    Cons

No working from home outside of emergencies. A lot of your team will be offshore and not working at the same time as you, so collaboration is very difficult. Everything you work on has to be reviewed by senior management.

    Advice to Management

Give people some flexibility and allow them room to shine.
