I have been working at Mannik & Smith Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

At MSG employees are given the opportunity to excel within a culture built on Technical Skill and thriving on Creative Spirit!

    Cons

At MSG sometimes employees at don't realize their own worth. They don't give themselves enough credit. They don't realize that they are MSG. They are what makes this company great.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do what you do best...lead this company that so many believe in, trust and respect.

    Pros

great work environment, a lot of overtime pay, company vehicles, great resume builder, good place to be, will help you down the road

    Cons

long hours, lower end in pay, my vehicle was really old and kind of dangerous to drive. Entry level job salary is on the low end

    Advice to Management

pay the lower employees more so they can stick around this well run company. Great work environment however. Good place to be.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Mannik & Smith Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are really friendly and easy to work with. You can get involved in a variety of projects and have some freedom in deciding what sort of projects you'd like to be involved in. Lot of flexibility in the work hours. They also offer compensatory time off for additional hours worked.

    Cons

The pay, the pay, the pay. I don't think I can emphasize this enough. The pay is well below industry standards. Progression is a little slow and depends on how much projects you can bring in.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees and try to retain the talent you have by paying a respectable compensation. For the company to grow you need people who grow within. So instead of hiring experienced people, try to grow the talent you have by retaining them. Respect every group and do not undermine the value of any sector. I think the management needs to be more ambitious and get out of the comfort zone if the company has to grow from decent to the best in the region.
