I have been working at Manpower as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Manpower offers a foot in the door for people seeking permanent employment through various companies they contract with. They also pay a reasonable hourly wage for the time you're actually employed.

    Cons

Manpower does not offer vacation, personal, or sick days. Regardless of how long you have worked at the same location, or with Manpower in general, you're expected to work like a dog and they have no concern for you in the event you are sick, injured, etc. You're also only working for as long as they can work you without being accused of exploiting their employees. Then, you're expected to wait on unemployment until they call you back and hope you can find the same income in the meantime.

Communication is sub par and some of the supervisors are more concerned with exacting authority over you than actually working with you.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to do our jobs before telling us how to do our jobs. Thanks.
