I worked at Manpower full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The business, and this location have been around for several years. They are international in scope. The website is useful. They pay on time. Depending on the local job market, they can keep one busy for as long as you want to work.

    Cons

I personally seem to be overqualified for many of the jobs available in the local market.

    Advice to Management

    None.

    Pros

I have been working at Manpower full-time

    Pros

I enjoy my co-workers and the fast pace of the branch

    Cons

The branch is managed well, however the corporate support is minimal and disruptive to branch success.

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to incorporate more support and less auditing, Rolling out multiple things that require training in a given week is distracting and creates a passive aggressive relationship in the branch.

    Pros

Professional, excellent training, long term growth opportunities.

    Cons

Did not allow part time and lost good people.

    Advice to Management

Overall I can say that Manpower was the best company I ever worked for and I would recommend it to anyone. I would add that your employees are your company and that you should try to be as flexible as possible to work with them to keep good people. Manpower was wonderful to me and they helped develop me and my business skills. Our office was like a family and I valued that.
