Good work for some people.
Cons
Stressful work environment, mainly because of micromanagement. Forget Work Life Balance. Working on Weekends.

Pros
Not much good to write about this company.
Cons
Bad management! No work life balance.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Good work/life balance (if you know how to fight for your own good, don't be afraid to escalate to HR)
Cons
- Unfair performance evaluation: very very very little bonus (50% in stock which is basically no value) and it's not based on how good your performance is or how hard you work. It's literally based on management's discretion (aka if they like you or not, could be nothing even when you are a super star in the team). - Layoffs: LOTS OF layoffs due to company not performing or even politics - Security/Privacy: management overrides lots of internal controls in the company. Do not expect your email privacy is secured in this company. - No room to grow: management is trying to secure their jobs so acting like control freak and unwilling to develop talented people. - Lousy treatment when you give 2-week notice: they started to make you work EVERY single minute (even when you are sick or have emergency) and take away your bonus no matter how good your performance have been/how hard you have worked

Need better communication and collaboration between groups as we grow - Under-invested in marketing historically which has allowed other companies to paint a negative picture of MapR. Lack of awareness historically, but I think it it being fixed and big strides in marketing and sales are driving the next phase of growth
