Pros
Opportunity for growth, development and advancement. Independent E&P with a domestic focus Clearly stated values, strategy, mission and goals. Adaptability to the industry dynamics, strong safety culture, and core deep commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
Cons
Still adapting to broader Employee led D&I experiences, but we are getting there. Pay is consistent with peer Independent E&P vs. higher salaried Global Integrated Big Oil

Pros
Culture is based on mutual respect. Leadership is committed to as much transparency and communication as possible. Pay is above average for similar jobs in other industries.
Cons
Oil and Gas is a volatile industry. The most recent cuts are likely not the last but most roles are already overburdened with the loss of their colleagues. Difficult to move up at all. Pigeon holed in whatever your role is. Very little cross collaboration among departments.
