    Poorly run company

    Pros

Good benefits and work life balance. Most of the managers are great to work for. Pay has been ok. Decent cash and stock bonus.

    Cons

Have decided to go all in on unconventionals. Stock price shows people don't have confidence in the companies direction. Lot of hand waving and distraction from executives on how the company is performing when it really isn't.

    Good company making questionable changes

Jun 16, 2015 - Drilling Engineer, Production Engineer in Houston, TX

    Pros

Pay was adequate and benefits were good. Was great to work with multidisciplinary teams that pushed you to perform well. A lot of technically sound work is done here.

    Cons

Benefits were reduced in 2012 to cover fewer things especially in vision department. Company culture used to revolve around taking care of its employees especially in economic downturns, but the culture is changing in order to save money at the expense of the most experienced employees which in my opinion are invaluable especially with the great crew change around the corner.

    Pros

Awesome great work/life balance with very nice co workers. Company does a lot of community outreach work and really cares about the community they work in.

    Cons

Company was resistant to change at on point, but with the new management the culture is changing towards a more open minded mentality.
