Pros
The 9/80 work schedule is awesome. The base pay and bonus are both solid, especially given the state of oil and gas. The work is pretty easy and management doesn't push too hard on individual contributors.
Cons
Starting at the very top, senior tech leadership is weak. It's an old school industry and the tech it deploys is old school, too.

They lied on their ESG reporting. Would connect a well in the Bakken before gatherer there resulting in methane flaring. Would underreport the amount of CO2 flared. Company panicked when COVID hit. Laid off 40% of staff. Considers employees expendable. Worst executive management team I have ever encountered.
