I worked at Marco's Pizza part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good job for summer school hires, not a good job for veterans. A good start for young kids to learn the basics of teamwork and leadership

    Cons

Not many hours to work, lots of micromanaging, schedule sucks, especially in the summer when they have too many hires. Management inexperienced based on young kids as managers ages 21-22 years old. A high school environment for more mature elderly workers. Low pay, not much pay compared to other pizza companies.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring veterans to provide little hours and promise to work with them, lack of training and team work.

I have been working at Marco's Pizza part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers and loyal, friendly customers. 50% off.

    Cons

Bad managment. They constantly tell you theres possibilities to advance in the company but when you try to move up they slack and do not help you succeed.

I worked at Marco's Pizza full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free Pizza
    Free Drinks
    Free Desserts

    Cons

    Not enough money
    Bad with scheduling

    Advice to Management

Stop giving drivers one delivery at a time. Over scheduling makes none of the drivers any money. Everyone needs to wash dishes and share sidework appropriately; closing driver gets it the worst on sidework.

    Pros

If you have a good store manager, things will go great. I've seen the good and the bad and in between.

    Cons

It's fast food. You will deal with angry customers, but Marco's does a good job of making it right to the customer.

    Advice to Management

Hire more assistant managers to take weight of the Store Manager.

    Pros

Great experience learned many valuable skills and worked many hours. The pay was great (8.50 an hour) and hours were reasonable.

    Cons

Were not given many off days. Part time workers work a full 30 hours unless you are a delivery driver.

    Pros

Marco's Pizza is a way to get cash quick. They pay weekly. 50% off most food. Flexible Hours. You can cook, take orders or be a driver. If you like to just hang out and not work this is the place for you.

    Cons

Employees smoke vapes inside resturaunt. Most of the employees are two faced. Managment doesnt know what theyre doing so if you want a steady job with benifits id sugest looking elsewhere. I was really disappointed working for this franchise. No training your just thrown in and start cooking and ordertaking imidiatly. No pay raises or job advancement

    Advice to Management

I did not like working for this company. All employees are always on their phones texting managment is never there unless its the busy hours. No more then 25 hours a week isnt worth the time working there. Dont bother asking for more hours. Youll just get fired.

I have been working at Marco's Pizza part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Base hourly wage combined with tips can yield pretty good money some days, mainly on Fridays and weekends. Co-workers are laid back and cool. Job is mostly easy and time flies when out making deliveries. Very flexible with scheduling, so you can do this with another job and make extra money on the side, as I am doing myself.

    Cons

Long term this job will run up the miles and wear and tear on your vehicle. Arrogant and unprofessional management, but this should be expected in this sort of job. Base pay is very low, so those tips are extremely important. Sometimes way too many drivers and not enough deliveries. Having to answer phones and deal with customers can be stressful at times.

    Advice to Management

Pay more than minimum wage! Make sure store managers have stable personalities and don't resort to yelling obscenities when nobody answers a phone! I have to grind my teeth hard some nights due to the managers childish behavior.
