I have been working at Marcus Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I find it mostly flexible with schooling. It is very easy to get hours. it is also a comfortable environment.

    Cons

higher ups (assistant managers) actions are questionable. There is also very little room to move up in rank and they hold tight to seniority status which does not always seem affective

    Advice to Management

It would improve if they held more responsibilities onto their employees rather than letting them getting away with things that inappropriate anywhere else.

I worked at Marcus Corporation part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cool benefits (free movies, popcorn, soda, etc), pretty easy job compared to other entry level places (McDonalds, etc), more of a family than just employees, very social. Long shifts (could be con depending on the person)

    Cons

Doesn't pay that well, Don't really give raises. Long shifts (could be a pro for some). Some of the new policies are ridiculous.

  3. "not bad"

I have been working at Marcus Corporation full-time

    Pros

a very aggressive company that wants to serve its guests as best as possible.
plenty of perks: free movies and popcorn and soda.

    Cons

the hours can be a bit exhausting. working 60+ hours a week is not really ideal if you are only being paid for 40 of them.

    Advice to Management

management is just fine. there are issues that persist with the company that can only be fixed from above the theatre level. I.e corporate needs to implement the changes

I worked at Marcus Corporation part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Do what you want as long as you get the work done. If you work for long enough you can pick your own schedule.

    Cons

Some places have bad coworkers, and managers. No structure. Management has sloppy planning. Supervisors hide all the time, especially when you need them.

I have been working at Marcus Corporation (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free movie passes are a perk if you're not too sick of your workplace yet. It is a fun place to work, with a lot of people to interact with. Flexible hours.

    Cons

They love to increase the workload but refuse to give raises. (Not kidding, straight up refuses) Management is a mess with managers in and out of their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees a competitive wage. Reward good performance, anything but is discouraging it. You lose good knowledgeable employees when you don't keep them happy.

    Pros

Very fast paced environment and some great people that you work
