    I worked at Mariano's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The only pro were the co-workers. I made some great friendships throughout the years of working there. We hung out after work, uplifted one another, partied together, etc...

    Cons

Everything else. The company and the managers are terrible. The managers don't care about their employees. They'll tell you to your face that you're replaceable. Managers who can't manage at all. They'll only advance you within the company if they like you; and then they expect you to kiss their butt. You're only working PT (literally 20-25 hrs max) until you become a lead. So with that being said you know you get no benefits at all. You work your butt off for nothing. You get paid every week but it still isn't worth it. Treated us like slaves. Never listened to us. Schedules were always messed up.

    Advice to Management

Have a management team that actually cares about their employees and not just the sales of the store.
