I worked at Marietta full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Solid group of people with high integrity. The work environment was pleasant, if a bit frustrating (see below). VERY good compensation plan - I was, frankly, overpaid.

    Cons

Private equity ownership meant cash was king, and customer service often suffered due to the need to make it through the month.

    Advice to Management

Make a plan and stick to it. The place was chaos half the time as the latest piece of news generated today's chinese fire drill

I worked at Marietta full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The staff is friendly.
    The benefits are okay.
    Good place to learn.
Easy to get promoted as long as you do your job well.

    Cons

The location is a little rough around the edges.
There are not many options / places t eat for lunch (at least not nice places).
    HR is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Corporate management needs to clean house:
There are too many long timers at the plant that are indifferent and make it difficult to get things done. Nepotism is way too common.

I worked at Marietta full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Upper Management was always friendly and fairly easy to reach. Benefits were ok, bosses were always flexible with time off requests and having back ups for most positions.

    Cons

    - Low pay and long hours
    - Had to work weekends once a month
    - Training was subpar
    - Organizational communication wasn't the best

    Advice to Management

Establish an organized chain of command. Train your trainers! Too many people around here complain about having subpar training when they first start.
