I worked at Marietta Toyota full-time

    Pros

I enjoyed working here for the most part. Most of the people that I worked with were really nice. They were always willing to help and most of the customers were okay.

    Cons

There was a lot of organizational problems. There was no room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

I wish that the computer system might be updated. The computers were very slow.

I worked at Marietta Toyota full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You work with a great group of salesman and sales managers. David Swagerty runs that place like a football coach but can be your best friend also. The finance guys are the best, big shout out to Roberto and Andrew!

    Cons

They lie to you when hired. They tell you in the hiring interview it is salary plus commission. They don’t mention that you get 10 bucks an hour and have to sell 6 cars to see the commission. They say they love Veterans but will find a way to fire them quick. The training is a joke, they make you watch a video and read material. There is no hands-on training, that is why so many people fail and get fired or quit.

    Advice to Management

    Better training!

    Pros

Good teams, Good technicians with lots of knowledge. holidays off good benefits

    Cons

poor management , NO DIAG TIME, service Advisor cutting hours to sell the job, can not keep work in the door that is not free or warranty.

    Advice to Management

Stop worrying about your rentention numbers and worry about your techs that need work to pay your bills, the customer need help every now and again but they chose to buy that car and that means paying to fix it when it breaks.

I worked at Marietta Toyota full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people you get to work with make it worth it! Most of the clientele are wonderful people...lucrative pay plan (no draw; commission only weekly with bonuses and spiffs)

    Cons

Slightly disorganized and some (and by some I mean a very small group) people think that everything should be free because Toyota's are supposed to be "indestructible" or something like that...guess what it's a vehicle...its mechanical and like most things that are mechanical, stuff breaks and needs to be serviced regularly in order to maintain it...the world owes you nothing! But management has created its own monster regarding that by giving out so many coupons and now customers "expect" discounts...not good for profit

    Advice to Management

Grow a back bone and tell customers no sometimes because I don't care what anyone says...the customer is NOT ALWAYS right!

    Pros

very flexible with hours. The pay was not to bad when time where good since everything was commission based.

    Cons

No breaks for service managers and no real chance for advancement. It is almost like once you get a position you are stuck there.

    Advice to Management

Give employees a chance to move up in the company and offer breaks and maybe everyone will not be so stressed
