Not a thing. This is a global company that opened their first operation in the US in Philadelphia in 2010.

    Advice to Management

Pay your salespeople back the thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars due us from your complete incompetence.

I have been working at Mark Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The Mark Group has an excellent work environment. We have a friendly and collaborative workforce who offer training and will help whenever possible. We like to assist in developing our employees passion for the industry and their career as well as provide opportunities for advancement. Finally, the Mark Group is very flexible with work schedules to ensure a great work / life balance.

    Cons

The only con would be that we are working through minor growing pains from opening our US Operation in 2010.

    Advice to Management

Continue to hire passionate and driven individuals who want to learn, grow and advance their career.

I worked at Mark Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a lot of good, smart, hardworking people here. This especially includes the install crews that keep the business running and earned the company an Angie's List service award in 2012. Unfortunately, all of these good folks are stymied by their British bosses.

    Cons

The British bosses. The folk from the UK parent do not give the US executives the autonomy to run the company. Operating in the UK is very different from the US and the British fail to grasp this. From the second rate systems and support to the crippling manuals processes, this is a failure waiting to happen.

    Advice to Management

Stand up to the UK ownership and let they know what it is you need to be successful. You may be surprised and they may give you the resources you need. I don't see it happening, but if you don't ask, you'll never know.
