    Pros

    There is a great work atmosphere with very welcoming and friendly employees. Anyone is willing to help out making it feel more intimate and a less intimidating environment to work in.

    Cons

    There are parts of the company culture and structure that have not adapted quickly to modern trends giving it a strong corporate feel

    Stayed on track. Did not venture into areas outside their expertise. Very smart folks with excellent decision making skills.

    Overall great work environment, friendly co-workers, average growth opportunities for a big company, comparable benefits and time off, great downtown location

    Growth opportunities bottlenecks after analyst levels, which is fairly to be expected, currently undergoing merger... future of employees unknown

    Advice to Management

    Good job promoting a unified work culture, benefits under MarkWest were better than current. Overall great place to work and experience the midstream industry

    Lots of great people that were fun to work with.

    Oil and gas business is hurting due to oil and therefore many cutbacks were necessary.

    Pros

    good company with benefits and growth, overtime available and company truck with tools. hands on experience friendly staff

    Cons

    start ups are pushed before safety. management does not care about any issues other than moving gas. company grew to fast and lost their connection with their employees

    dont forget where you came from. listen to your employees on field issues that is why they are out there

    Pros

    The company takes care of it's employees. They will do what they can for you. It has been a pleasure working for this company.

    Cons

    One of the downsides of working for this company would be not giving you the necessary training to do your job. They will give you a task and expect you to know what to do.

    Give your employees guidance and training that they need. This will help them do a better job in the long run.

    Good people and fun fast-paced environment to work. Competitive pay with decent benefits

    Cons

    This company is based out of Colorado so Pittsburgh is more of a field office. Sometimes the fast-pace can become overwhelming

    Keep on doing what you're doing. The company is thriving and the gas is flowing.
