I have been working at Market Force Information for more than 3 years

    Pros

I've always been able to make around $200 a month with this side job.

    Cons

They used to pay a $12-$15 reimbursement for clients plus a $5 fee. Since they reopened post-pandemic, they've stopped paying the fee completely but have not reduced the purchase requirements,. At some clients this doesn't even cover the purchase requirements. Sometimes they block clients in your area. I realized this yesterday as I was out shopping for a client. If I log in at home or in my neighborhood, nearby shops don't show up. When I logged in 10 miles away from home, they showed up. They pay us less and then try to force us to drive farther for shops.

I have been working at Market Force Information full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

They pay on time; the reports are easy and they are also easy to falsify

    Cons

The pay is awful; supervisors don't trust workers; because supervisors don't trust workers, the workers screw up

I have been working at Market Force Information

    Pros

There were no pros to working with this company.

    Cons

This company does not allow shoppers to make corrections to their surveys once the shop has been submitted. DO NOT contract with this company - they will say that you uploaded incorrect photos and throw out your shop without giving you a chance to make corrections.

I have been working at Market Force Information for more than a year

    Pros

The hours are flexible, but the pay is extremely low. They will call to harass you about doing shops for them.

    Cons

I was called repeatedly asking me to do a secret shopper assignment for a McDonalds. It was further away from my home then I wanted to travel, but after many, many calls, I relented at an increased rate of pay. I did the shop exactly as requested in the instructions. After reporting my shop, I received an email saying that I would not be paid because I had bought the wrong item. I emailed them a copy of the sheet showing that the item I purchased was on the list, but they still did not pay me. They just wanted to get out of the higher fee. They are corrupt, and dishonest.

I have been working at Market Force Information for more than 3 years

    Pros

I can set my own schedule and pick the assignments I want according to my availability. Can only do a limited amount of shops.

    Cons

Low pay and the lac of shops in my immediate area. Would be a better opportunity for someone who lives in a city.

I worked at Market Force Information for less than a year

    Pros

there are none , unless you like being called 10 times and then not getting paid to do an assignment!

    Cons

They bombard you with pages of instructions that should be fairly easy( they make it more difficult than it should be) , and then when you make a small mistake they refuse to pay you!! Should be illegal , but because they give you independent contractor they get away with it...

I have been working at Market Force Information for more than a year

    Pros

There are no pros that can be listed for this company. MarketForce does what they want, when they want and how they want.

    Cons

Marketforce sells your information to third parties. I know many of the management in this company and everyone's information gets sent to third party companies. This can be confirmed easily by having a lawyer draft up a letter requesting this. I didn't want to believe it, but it's true. They also look at any reason not to pay the Mystery Shopper. Although it has NEVER happened to me, I have both witnessed their deception as well as have information on their practices that confirm this. MarketForce is a company that you should be VERY skeptical about what information you give to them. Please be careful..
