I worked at Market Strategies International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Paid well. Remote work is an option.

    Cons

Senior level, especially key management not in touch with day-to-day business and employees. Individual goals and career advancement not outlined nor clear. Work environment extremely negative as the culture was nonexistent. Not a team environment. Everyone looking out for themselves and often throwing others 'under the bus.' Very petty and political. Glad to be gone.

    Advice to Management

Take a hard look at who is running your IGs. Won't have to dig too deep to uncover the reason for diminished sales and high turnover.

I worked at Market Strategies International full-time

    Pros

Lots of nice people who really want the best for the company. Many individuals with great research expertise.

    Cons

Suffers from some fairly typical mid-sized company issues in that it doesn't really have the personal, community feel of a small company or the unique character and it doesn't have the high-quality benefits that you tend to get at larger places.

    Pros

Flexible, good people, work from home options and really understanding with schedule. Not a bad place to start.

    Cons

Horrible executive managment, they lie, they steal, they cheat their employees - but with a smile. At least they are nice to your face, right.....right?

    Advice to Management

Don't promise things you can't do. Send at least a Christmas card or some sign of appreciation to your employees. This work can get boring and demanding add some type of incentive / bonus program - OTS awards are bull. And you need to work on the culture. Even if you work hard it's unlikely you'll get promoted it they would rather hire in new talent to take higher positions. Hence high turnover rates.
