    I worked at MarketSource part-time

    Pros

Usually you only have to work weekends, and if you have to do a training on the week days it's flexible to your schedule. You can definitely work this job and have a full time job.

    Cons

There really aren't any cons. The jobs are simple. Show up. Be in the place you're supposed to be. Turn in your surveys and training ON TIME, and all will be well. Definitely work for MarketSource if you're looking for a great PT job. Management is cool too.

Really great learning environment. Employees are allowed to be successful and provided learning tools that can be used with versatility in other professional environments.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

It's important that team building exercises are not just driven in order to achieve quantity driven results but quality driven results in order to ensure employee retention.

    Pros

There are no good things to come out of this job

    Cons

This is a dead end job that had no room for growth management is disorganized and horrible, and the pay is awful for the amount of knowledge and work you have to do. Running a store by yourself for 8 an hour is a complete waste of time. They are not flexible and they schedule you how they want despite making you waste your time and filling outyour availability. They also have problems with paying employees as i had late direct deposit three times and bounced checks from the company. They need to be shut down. You also get

    Advice to Management

Be more organized and get better training because you are all very unqualified, or at least work as if you are. You also get told you will get comission but do not recieve a commission check until you quitand threaten to sue the company

I have been working at MarketSource part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy job, work alongside good Target people, lunch and break periods are nice. You don't actually need to do anything besides walk around and answer simple phone questions or point people towards products.

Management will depend on who you get but my manager (EEL) is a cool guy while the DM is very sales-y. Selling in Target feels super out of place and uncomfortable, the Target guests are generally older people or moms.

After sticking with the company for a year or so while everyone else was leaving (literally, at one point both coworkers with the same job and my manager left) I was able to basically nab a great schedule, but don't expect to be as lucky as me.

Be honest and reasonable, be ready to talk the usual sales culture lingo.

Sets you up for a job with any carrier besides TMobile.

    Cons

Base Pay is awful (WTM $8, WTL $11, EEL $14) commission pay is getting worse, want you to sell with no actual training, pushing poor products/services.

    Advice to Management

Get your crap together, how about a place to view commission and rep KPI. Don't spout your sales nonsense, lead by example or you will have poor salespeople like me because they don't know how to sell in this new environment.

    Pros

Discounted phone service, Get to be on your phone at work.

    Cons

Work almost every weekend, they don't give employees raises. They say if you want more money sell more. Poor communication. They send emails with out full details then when you ask your DM they make up an answer. Stores that sell well don't always get the inventory they need but stores that sell less sometimes get more inventory. Health insurance is way too expensive

    Advice to Management

Start treating your loyal employees better and actually care about them. Stop hiring anyone off the street for an associate position.
