I worked at MarketStar full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Wonderful coworkers, opportunity to get experience in a lot of different fields and with different companies depending on the teams you work for.

    Cons

Politics for promotions and management opportunities, but that tends to be the case no matter where you work.

    Advice to Management

Focus on people's strengths for promotions not necessarily on accomplishments. A great sales rep rarely = a great manager.

I have been working at MarketStar full-time

    Pros

Excellent benefits and paid time off

    Cons

    Little to no upward movement

    Advice to Management

Not all that want to manage are capable. Vet leads, team managers, and AE's a little closer. You might want to find out what their colleagues really think of them before you put them in charge.

I worked at MarketStar full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Marketstar provides an incredible opportunity to work closely with some of the largest and fastest growing companies in the US. With a high focus on employee development, it is a great place to learn.

    Cons

Topside at Marketstar is limited for someone wanting to stay with the company. Salaries are competitive for the home base in Ogden Utah, but are not always competitive for employees in other areas of the country. A lot of this depends on which client you are working for.
