    I worked at Marketecture full-time

    Pros

    Great work environment. Fun employees.

    Cons

Leads were tough. Sales process was refined enough. Marketecture's service was way to broad.

    Advice to Management

    Go deeper with fewer services

I worked at Marketecture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company in its prime was a great company to work at who really tried to help customers make successful online businesses. I had a great time working there, but that sadly passed all too quickly.

    Cons

Bad financial decisions and terrible management tanked the company. Layoffs happened all the time in all departments. I don't know how they are doing now but I would never work with them as an employee or a customer. If you are still there, jump ship... seriously. A company sinking like them is only going to get you caught in their mess.

I worked at Marketecture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company culture, relaxed atmosphere, helpful employees that watch out for each other.

    Cons

Management is doing all they can to save a company that has sunk at this point. They are taking risks by not fulfilling their promises to clients which comes back to hurt them later. They also don't have the money to take care of the employees by giving raises or perks. They have few employees that wear multiple hates and have become stretched to thin.

    Advice to Management

Hire quality employees and give raises to key members to entice them to stay. Stop making promises that you are incapable of fulfilling and cut ties with Dan and Ollie.

    Pros

    It's a good starter job, i guess.

    Cons

The supervisors had 'favorites' based on personalities and not job performance.

I worked at Marketecture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent environment for college students looking for entry level work in marketing, sales, and web design. Located in a brand new spacious building just off of I-15 overlooking the Wasatch Mountains.

    Cons

Just don't expect to stay with this company long-term. In fact, you should probably keep other job opportunities open while you stay here long enough to get the work experience that you'll need to apply for a better job elsewhere. This company has been through at least 4 major layoffs in the short time that it has been up and running. It's not uncommon for your neighbor to be dismissed midweek. At one point they even laid off their entire Human Resources team opting for a departmental head to tackle HR issues.

    Advice to Management

Good luck hiring quality employees on that slim budget.

    Pros

Fun work environment.. and nerf guns.

    Cons

I started working at marketecture with a promised raise within a few months. I trained and learned new jobs, and quickly took on multiple job-titles along with the original job I was hired to do. This was due to massive lay-offs, based on a poor choice from the CEO. Months passed. When I talked to my supervisor about finally getting that raise I was promised, he kept putting it off. I ended up with a major illness which left me hospitalized, took my sick leave, and when I came back, they fired me.

    Advice to Management

Just learn how to treat your employees right. If they aren't happy, they're not going to work well.

    Pros

The people that work here are really fun.

    Cons

I never received any real training particular to my position. I was uncomfortable with the types of things they asked me to do without explaining the situation first. Their dealings seemed to always land just on this side of ethical, but too close for comfort in my eyes.

    Advice to Management

I never knew what the management was doing. Things always seemed to be changing things, but it was never a good change.
