I worked at Marketing Alliance Group full-time

    Pros

worked here for over 15 years, in the beginning it was like one big family, the owner, J,Hair treat his workers like family, things have changed a lot in this aspect over the last few years, the upper Plant management is still family orient,

    Cons

hr and safety has demanded so many changes that are not even relevant to safety nor hr issues that they have broken the family feel within the plants.

    Advice to Management

I would think you can get the same employee respect and quality if you would look closer into the damage that the safety management has destroyed since she has come aboard this company, some of the changes have nothing to do with safety just showing her power within. abuse of position

I have been working at Marketing Alliance Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Some good people there. And it's a job.

    Cons

Pay is horrible, hours are horrible. You work your butt off nearly killing yourself only to make hardly enough money to survive off of. These new changes make things worse. They took away over time and things are getting stricter then they need to be. They are more worried about the numbers than quality of product.

    Advice to Management

Spend the money where you need to. Pay better wages, change the schedule Mon-Fri 7am-3pm for first shift. Second 3pm-11pm. Stand up to HR. HR should not be playing big brother and worried about what people are doing or not doing. Let the supervisors and line leads do their jobs. Tell her to keep out of their business. Fix the building and make it look like a place of employment instead of something that should be torn down. Fix the coffee machine in the break room or take it out. And show some appreciation for the people who work for you. This company is going down hill. Once this recession hits it's gonna hit hard.

I worked at Marketing Alliance Group

    Pros

Fast pace place but fun and creative. Good work environment. If you have no personal life you will like it.

    Cons

Big time nepotism. If you are not part of the family or the inner circle you will never make it long term

I worked at Marketing Alliance Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Upper management made large investments in upgrading the manufacturing equipment in some areas. Most of the work was still done in the U.S. rather than importing.

    Cons

Even though the company invested lots of money in new equipment, the quality of the final product did not really seem to improve and if there were problems with the client there was not a lot of support for the people in customer service.

    Advice to Management

    Support customer service more.
