I have been working at Marketing Werks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good work environment, training, management want you to succeed and are supportive. Freedom of schedule. Flexibility. Good compensation and benefits. 401k. Tablet and phone given to us by management. Jacket and shirts provided also.

    Cons

Travel, other than distance to my properties the compensation should be worth it overall when taking into consideration the base salary plus commission. So you have to enjoy at times to travel to those properties.

    Advice to Management

Mileage reimbursement program is needed. That would be a big help. Other than that, everything is good.

I have been working at Marketing Werks as a contractor

    Pros

Marketing Werks is an ecstatic place to work-- but there is no denying (as mentioned in many reviews) that the acquisition by Crossmark led to many hard changes. Mergers between companies are difficult-- great werkers left, clients were lost, and the vision of MW was uncertain. It changed the energy of the entire company.

But as an employee who stayed with the company through the tough times, I am SO happy to say that life has been reborn at Marketing Werks. Holly Meloy's leadership and the Senior Leadership Team brought new success & positivity to the company. There is a clear vision for the agency. Employees have a clear path to grow. New clients are coming through the door. And the positivity, support, and confidence of the agency is through the roof.

While it may not have the old energy that previous employees felt, an MW 2.0 is now here to stay. The agency will always have that work hard, play hard mentality and those who come to join the MW family will see and feel the excitement the agency has to offer.

    Cons

If you don't like to travel, would not recommend joining the agency.

    Advice to Management

Keep on keeping on-- the work you are doing is inspiring your werkers and everyone can feel the momentum the agency has now!

    Pros

They offer opportunities for leadership within the field. It has allowed me to grow tremendously and become superior at multi-tasking and problem solving.

    Cons

It is tough to climb the ladder. Everything is about timing and you have to proactively seek work with the company or they will not call you. I'm told they pay less than other competitors, however I do not know this for certain.

    Advice to Management

Keep your great field managers close. Other than that keep up the great work!
