    Great place to work and have great benefits. The hotel discounts are amazing! You can stay anywhere in the world for just a fraction of the cost!

    Cons

    You must be relocatable to move up. Some markets are limited to advance in because there are few managed hotels.

    Brand is very strict and roboti. The image of Marriott creates scripted experiences with guests.

    Become familiar and aware of the positions underneath your own to understand what we do and how things operate.

    Pros

    They take care of their employees but I work for a franchise just to let everyone know I don't work for corporate. I really would love to work Marriott international because they are an amazing company.

    Cons

    Not being able to move over to another department if the department you're working for closes for renovation. Working for a franchise I'm limited in advancements

    Advice to Management

    It is possible but hard to get your foot into management but once you're in you are doing great. Marriott international is an amazing company to work for and wouldn't change just my change to advance.
