    Pros

Marriott International is a great company to work for. They are great on keeping up with training. Their technology is great and easy to catch on to. They are constantly tying to keep up with the the guests and what they need. I love interacting with guests

    Cons

Franchise hotels seem to get owners that dont want to keep up with some of the great policies Marriott corp has. You loose a lot of ur benefits when working for a franchise hotel

I worked at Marriott International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits (health ins, hotel discounts, etc.), generally good camaraderie amongst teams, power of a strong brand to sell

    Cons

Large company so changes come slow and often without good clear communication when they do come. Pay is sub market but the hospitality industry has a way of doing that in general.

    Advice to Management

Embrace change and input from all. It seems that is happening (from the outside looking back in) and that's encouraging.
