I have been working at Marriott International part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good discounts, great tips/gratuity. I work in banquets and the hours are off and on so when there are hours take them cause it is possible you may not work for a week or two.

    Cons

Like working with high schoolers at times but hard workers nevertheless. Lots of great people, can seem difficult at first.

I have been working at Marriott International as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

People at the Tucson Marriott University Park are kind, supportive, inspiring. They highly encourage personal growth and creativity.

    Cons

I can not think of any cons to working here. I didn't simply join a workforce, I joined a family.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. I never envisioned myself working in an office until I began working here. The Tucson Marriott University Park makes office life fun.

    Pros

Good treatment of employees. Good benefits and perks of working for the company. Many chances to advance career within the company.

    Cons

Having to work weekends and holidays, as hotels and resorts never close. Upper management is very involved with teams below them. While this a pro in many ways, there were problems with fraternization between managers and their subordinates, and favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Be more professional when interacting with coworkers, especially being careful to not treat certain employees differently. While I worked for the company, it was always clear who the manager's favorites were, and these employees were always the first to receive promotions and awards.
