    Negative Outlook

I worked at Mars It Corp. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They dont make you pay the entire cost of H1
They generally pay salary on time though

    Cons

Its a mom and pop shop. When a new consultant gets there, mom does the sweet talk and lures the unsuspecting lame. When the time to deliver comes, mom gets aside and out comes the papa with his long stick, by then the duck is helpless and gets beaten up.
    - Very poor marketting
    - very fragile ego - both mom and pop and very egoist and cannot take feedback leave aside any
critiquing, you'd better search another job and port your H1 before you open your mouth.
    - Very poor finance department, paystubs, W2's all outsourced to some CHEAP company
probably out there in India, very poor job.
    - they never answer any phone calls made in their office or cellphones, no matter what your
      emergency may be.
    - they never honor your experience and skills, you maybe 3 years or 10 years, for them you are
just a hourly contractor that must bill the client.

    Advice to Management

    - Become honest, its tough, but not impossible
    - keep promises you make to people
    - STOP taking money for H1 visas, not fair
    - Reduce your greed for commission in H1 contractors hourly rates
    - get some good vendor for finance matters
    - get some good immigration attorneys who know english well enough
    - be more efficient, you work very very slow
    - try to become an employer, graduate up please, theres just too many a body shop around
here otherwise, times have changed, now engineers dont need you, they have options, but
you still need engineers to make money for you. The immigration system is headed for a
major overhaul soon and you may find yourself sitting alone just a few years down the line.
So please correct your mistakes, and be good to people, they are just as human as you are.
Dont come after me just because I spoke it, try to understand the pain behind this and work
       on improving yourself.

    Pros

The Associates are a smart, good bunch. Mars IS spends a great deal of time focusing on Associate Development, BUT doesn't really walk the walk.

    Cons

    Honesty and integrity of Management.

    Advice to Management

Associate feedback is provided robustly, reported up the chain, but the downward cascade is all peaches and cream. It's a real obstacle to engagement.
