I have been working at Marsden part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to listen to "elevator music" playing at some of the places you clean.
You get to work alone at some buildings

    Cons

Some buildings you have to be done at a certain time
Some clients are very messy and annoying
They don't pay us enough for what we do
Some supervisors don't always get the products you need on time, so you end up using what you have or come up with a alternative then the clients complain because they dislike what was done
Some companies are small and could do the work themselves

    Advice to Management

Review your companies you decide to clean for before committing a cleaner to clean them. You are just wasting the money and time.

Absolutely, the worst communicators. Even at the highest point. COO, various mgrs, even the owner. Don't respond to emails or voicemails.

I worked at Marsden full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had a very hard working and dedicated staff who took pride in quality of their work. Not much else positive to report.

    Cons

The pay for account managers was below industry average, the hours were horrible and HR was only concerned with supporting company propaganda. Their 401(k) had an industry-leading match of 0.00% for employee contributions.

Middle and upper management consists of some of the laziest, most dishonest, dysfunctional people I have ever had the displeasure of knowing and being associated with. I wrote up one of my superiors for being a lying incompetent slug and was let go shortly thereafter. One of the worst jobs for one of the worst companies imaginable.

    Advice to Management

Dear Management. Find a mirror. Look closely at what you see. Excellent. You've just discovered what is wrong with this company.

I worked at Marsden full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice people to work with as the crew. Very hardworking. Was fun going to work everyday. Work itself was easy.

    Cons

Management not receptive to employees concerns and comments. They hire good people but do not show appreciation, so the good ones don't last.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees. Show them that they are appreciated. Listen to their concerns. Improve benefits instead of cutting back.
