Below market pay for work life balance

      Pros

Most coworkers are really great people, leadership is pretty grounded, stable and growing company, stresses core values, community service and educational opportunities are always available.

      Cons

So sales oriented and bottom line driven. Pay is not competitive but there really can be a great work life balance so you have to decide what’s important to you. They hire a lot of inexperienced people so it’s constant training wheel until that person leaves for a better paying job.

Good Work Life Balance But Limited Upside

      Pros

Marsh has offered me an excellent work life balance and fair compensation in relation to my workload.

      Cons

My main issue is the lack of change in new technology and systems, nonexistent training, and limited room for advancement. Almost all attention is given to growing revenues with little consideration for real training. Also, I've recommended multiple improvements to processes and systems with no buy-in from management. Lastly, after 7 years I am still stuck in the same position with no clear path to advance.
